WB C-470 shoulder closures will be Mon through Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, (weather permitting). The Bike Trail will be closed off in ~100 ft to ~1500 ft sections from Rooney Rd to Alameda, from the Quincy Pedestrian Bridge to Belleview, and from Ericson to Lucent during daytime working hours and cyclists will be asked to dismount and walk around the work zones. In the evenings and on weekends these bike trail sections may have exposed base with no concrete. In such cases signage will be placed to warn cyclists to be careful when going through these sections.

As work continues on the northern sections of the trail and begins along the High Line Canal section in Douglas County we suggest alternative routes to avoid becoming entangled in the construction work:

1)       Rooney Road from trailhead to Alameda Parkway.
2)       Quincy Ave to Belle View Ave.
3)       County Line Road from Erickson Blvd to Lucent Blvd.

NOTE: Bike Jeffco recommended to CDOT that no money be spent on temporary alternative routes so that more could be spent on permanent repairs.
